LA RIVIERA, Sacramento County — Sacramento County’s transportation project list includes a second phase of Folsom Boulevard Complete Streets improvements that would affect the La Riviera Drive corridor and nearby intersections.

The county describes plans for bicycle lanes, sidewalks, street lighting, landscaping, fencing and accessible curb ramps, with signal upgrades listed for La Riviera Drive, Tiber Drive and Mayhew Road. The goal is a safer corridor accommodating people walking, cycling, driving and using transit.

The county’s project master list identifies the intended improvements but does not by itself establish the exact start date, funded construction contract or present location of work crews. Individual improvements may proceed on different schedules and require detailed design.

Practical information

Residents who travel along Folsom Boulevard should follow transportation department updates about construction and any detours. School families and people with disabilities may wish to identify crossings where curb ramps or signal timing are most urgently needed and share those needs during public outreach.
